Suspense
Porto de Galinhas, Brazil.
While travelling in northern Brazil, my friend Marcio and I saw a man sprint down the beach and perform three backflips in a row.
Marcio asked, in Portuguese, if he’d mind doing it again for the camera — he kindly agreed. Three attempts later, I captured this shot.
When I showed him the result on the back of the camera, he lit up. I offered to email it to him, but he smiled and said, “I don’t have email.”
Perhaps one day he’ll see it here. Obrigado, amigo.
